Alison is a senior leader with deep experience in ESG, responsible investment and active ownership.

As Head of Research Alison oversees Regnan’s research frameworks, processes and outputs, to remain at the forefront of industry practice and meet evolving clients needs.

Having joined the Regnan team in 2006, Alison has worked across all aspects of Regnan’s activities and possesses a combination of both depth and span across ES and G topics, as well as the ability to connect research with engagement and advocacy activities. Prior roles include leading Regnan’s research, engagement and advocacy activities on corporate governance matters and managing Regnan’s program of corporate engagement.

A Chartered Accountant, Alison also holds a BA (Jurisprudence) and a Masters of Environment. Her prior experience spans professional services (EY), regulation and research.

BA, MA (Comm Mgmt), CIMA

Susheela has more than 15 years’ domestic and international experience advising institutional investors on responsible investment.

She was instrumental in the development of Regnan’s research products, stewardship strategies and advisory programs, and has led or overseen much of this work in her previous roles.

As Head of Advisory, she has assisted small foundations through to the world’s largest institutions, including a successful 18-month project in Switzerland responsible investment leadership for a global full-service bank and strategic advice to the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment on upgrading stewardship.

Susheela chairs the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia and is special adviser to the co-chair of the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Sydney, a Master’s Degree in Communication Management and is a licenced Certified Investment Management Analyst professional.

BComm, MEnvSc, PhD

Chris has been working with Regnan or its predecessor since 1998, and in that time has worked extensively on the development of ESG/responsible investment research to meet the evolving needs of retail and institutional investor clients.

He currently leads Regnan’s client service function, maintaining and overseeing existing and prospective client relations. He also coordinates Regnan’s research program, and regularly engages with ASX200 companies as part of the Regnan engagement service.

Chris has experience in investment markets, and financial management and audit processes across a variety of industries, from a career that spans professional services, investment banking and academia. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master’s in Environmental Science, and a PhD focused on the intersection of business and the environment. He has published a number of peer reviewed papers.

Alison joined Regnan in 2016 with responsibility for managing the engagement program, as well as supporting research and advocacy activities. She has worked in sustainability for over a decade and was formerly the Head of Sustainability at Westpac, a globally recognised sustainability leader, where she oversaw the development of ESG frameworks and policy.

She has been a director of the UN Global Compact’s Australian Network and a member of the technical standards committee for the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard. Alison has been appointed to a technical working group of the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative (ASFI). She has also held roles in corporate strategy in the financial sector and undertaken a number of sustainability consulting projects with leading UK organisations.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Organisational Communication from Charles Sturt University.

BEng(Civ)(Hons), MScFin, MEnvMgmtSust, GradDipInterDevPractice

Oshadee commenced at Regnan as an ESG analyst in 2015. He is responsible for stock level assessment and engagement, as well as research into ESG themes and issues. Prior to joining Regnan, Osh was Assistant Vice President at PolitEcon Research where he conducted research into ESG integration with a focus on sustainable investing. He has also interned at the UNEP Finance Initiative, providing support for sustainable supply chain and climate change adaptation projects.

Osh holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Management and Sustainability and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Development and Environmental Analysis, both from Monash University. He has also studied at Coventry University (UK), obtaining a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).

BA(Hons), MDevSt

Abby joined Regnan in 2018 as an ESG Analyst, with responsibilities for stock level assessment and engagement, as well as research into ESG themes and issues. She has recently completed a master’s degree focused on sustainable development, human rights and development economics, in addition to environmental policy.

Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in International Relations from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, and a Master’s in Development Studies from the University of Melbourne.

Jeremy leads the Responsible Investment Distribution strategy across Institutional, Wholesale and For-Purpose clients. He works closely with the Investment boutiques and Regnan Advisory to deliver client solution that seek meet both investment outcomes and sustainable goals.

Prior to joining the company, Jeremy held senior product and distribution roles at the Westpac-owned BT Financial Group (Listed Equity Products), Westpac Institutional Bank (Equity Derivatives and Debt Markets) and Citi (Global Markets and Banking).

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Business (Charles Sturt) and a Masters of Applied Finance (Macquarie University). Jeremy is a CIMA® professional.

Tim Crockford leads the Regnan Equity Impact Solutions team. He previously managed the Hermes Impact Opportunities Equity Fund from its launch in December 2017, having co-founded the Hermes Impact team in 2016. Tim joined Hermes Investment Management in 2009 as a research analyst for the European Equities team and became lead portfolio manager of the ESG-integrated Hermes Europe ex-UK Equity Fund in 2015, which he also managed until he left Hermes.

Mohsin is a fund manager dedicated to the strategy. He was previously a senior analyst on the Hermes Impact Opportunities Equity Fund, having joined Hermes in 2017. Prior to Hermes, Mohsin was an investment manager in Global Equities at Pictet Asset Management. At Pictet his experience included working on thematic equity funds including Water, Clean Energy and Agriculture.

Maxime is an investment analyst dedicated to the strategy. He has a decade of experience in sustainable investment. Previously, as an investment analyst at Hermes from 2016, he participated in the design, launch and management of the Hermes Impact Opportunities Equity Fund. Prior to this he led the integration of ESG and stewardship across investment strategies.

Maxine is an investment analyst dedicated to the strategy. She was previously an analyst on the Hermes Impact Opportunities Equity Fund. Maxime transferred to the Hermes Impact team in 2016, having initially joined the Hermes EOS team in 2014. She headed up the chemicals sector team, while also focusing on the financial services, industrials and technology sectors.

Bertrand leads the Thematic Investing strategy at Regnan. He is Senior Fund Manager on the Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste strategy. Previously he was a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity International, where he launched and managed the Fidelity Funds – Sustainable Water & Waste Fund. Prior to joining Fidelity International in 2018 Bertrand was a Portfolio Manager at Polar Capital and the founder and CIO of Aquilys Investment Management. Before moving to the buyside, Bertrand was Head of Equity Research, France at Deutsche Bank and a utilities analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Goldman Sachs. He holds an MSc in International Finance from HEC School of Management, France, an MSc in Money, Banking and Finance from Birmingham University, UK, and a DEA in Monetary Economics from Orleans University, France.

Saurabh is part of the Thematic Investing strategy at Regnan. He is a Fund Manager on the Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste strategy. Previously, he was an Assistant Portfolio Manager on the Fidelity Water & Waste strategy and an Investment Director in Fidelity’s equity team.

Prior to joining Fidelity in 2014, he worked as an equity research analyst for Moody’s Analytics (erst. Copal Amba) from 2011 to 2014 and for Global Data from 2010 to 2011. He has an MBA in Finance from IBS, Hyderabad, India, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calcutta, India. In addition, he is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA); and holds a CFA (ICFAI) degree.
